Conditions for exams

Conditions for exams

1. To be allowed to pass the exam, the student have to be inscribed for this course in this semester and he/she have to gain the credit in advance.

2. The exam consists of a written test and following interview.

3. The written test lasts three hours (i.e. 180 minutes). Within the test students are solving problems which can be solved using the methods explained during the semester, and they are (with help of hints) proving statements which can be proved with these methods.

4. During the test students may use any literature and any facilities with exception of instruments of remote communication (like mobile phones or internet).

5. Approximate evaluation: To pass the exam the student have to correctly solve at least 50% of the test, to get the mark 2 at least 60%, to get the mark 1 at least 75%. What is not clear may be clarified during the following interview.

6. Dates of tests are announced in SIS, where students have to apply. There will be no more tests apart of the announced ones.
