Seminar NMMA584-Regularity of weak solutions of partial differential equation

In this seminar we concetrate on homogenization of systems describing a flow of a generalized Newtonian fluid. In particular we are interested if something is possible to prove in the situation that the growth of the elliptic term is to weak to compensate the bad behaviour of the convective term. We start with reading the article Zhikov, V. V. Homogenization of a Navier-Stokes-type system for electrorheological fluid. Complex Var. Elliptic Equ. 56 (2011), no. 7-9, 545–558.


Further we also want to consider possibility of homogenization of the problem with oscilations in time
